I've had the Goniopora for about 4 years. Isn't the idea to keep it alive?? I do nothing special for it, it has grown from the size of a golfball to over the size of a basketball. and completely encrusted the rock it's on.

There was a post in large reef tank forum under, Our 500 gallon, it has build pictures...

Red/pink/purple gonis like that are much easier to care for than the green ones. I used to target feed a couple of mine, and stopped because they were getting too large.

I just stumbled onto this thread. i have 2 idol tanks both people happen to be friends of mine. i am not sure if either are on reefcentral very often

the first is jerry's 175 gallon reef. it is a bowfront tank. i

top down

the second is Dave's 300 gallon in wall reef.
