cilyjr, ive seen daves (aka ldf )and its very very nice in person. much better than those pics and those are nice pics. there are many idol tanks in our area i just wish more people got to see them because they should be shared.

The tank that game me the most inspiration, belongs to one of our local club members, and RC member, Aquaconnect. I was lucky enough to witness it in person at our last meeting at his house. Here's a couple pics of it:

The pics really don't do it justice, as my photography skills are novice at best.

Yep, there's some very inspirational tanks in this thread

Is it just me, or does it seem like a lot of systems run heavy on the blue light spectrum??? I try to get as close to sunlight color as possible...

Dark photos with lots of blue really make the corals pop..

This is easily my idols tank. I wouldn't be at the point of reefkeeping I am today without Mike (acropora nut). His tank was the inspiration to get into SPS and stock a reef tank with loads of fish.

The more the hobby advances the more I see tank that I wish were my own.
