If you know anything about RR coral or ORA coral. come in please!

Dear my great treasure.

my sps tank finally start running.
now, i want to buy some good stuff.

so, i have some question for you guys, if you know please, give me some help~

1. Is there anyone buy any SPS go straight to the REEF RAFT？ just like shopping
online.

2. If you buy RR or ORA SPS, you have to buy it through retail dealer?


please, please ,real like the RR 'triple shot' want to put in my tank~~~

as far as i know ORA does not let individual hobbyists order directly from them.

my LFS does orders every so often, so they usually give me a heads up when they're going to order in case i want anything.

beyond that, if you can't find an LFS that orders from them near you, some online retailers like Live Aquaria sell ORA stuff regularly.

You can buy ORA corals from LiveAquaria or Unique Corals. Both have their own tab for ORA. Most of my SPS are ORA because they are captive grown, better chance of being pest free and you get fairly good sized frags (no fingernail sized frags!!!). No good/trusted LFS near me so all mine are are from either Unique or LiveAquaria.

My preference is Unique followed very closely by LiveAquaria. RR is way to overpriced for me. Only downside is the damn frag plug ORA uses.

Agree, also because they are from generations that have been grownormal in captivity they are considered hardier.

What I do with ORA frags is ill chop them off the plug and throw in on a frag rack to cook for a bit and reach original size, then sell it to a fellow hobbiest.
