Illumination Control

I got no response in the ghl forum...

Is the illumination control part of the Profilux software just for LED, or can it be used for MH/T5?
Or would you just need to use simple timers for MH/T5?

Is there any write-ups or anything that deals with controlling MH/T5 and what settings to use in PC?

It is for all illumination both dimmable and otherwise.

There is no real write up as its a simple matter of inputting your on and off times, very very simple.

haha, if it was, i wouldn't be asking.

When i go into Illumination and click on Illumination 1, i see a graph and a whole lot of percentages. Looks like my Radion graphs. And then there are check boxes for clouds and stuff. And other options. So it's confusing.

I assume this is for the Mitras and I need to make my own Illumination channel with just one on and off time? And then assign that Illumination channel to the correct socket? And ignore all the other stuff?

Is this correct?

I'm asking about plain old MH and T5. On or off.

I ended up using the Illumination Control settings. I just deleted all the presets and remade my own with simple on/off times and none of the other settings. This way it's separate from my other timers. Keeps things a little more organized, even though it's doing the exact same thing.

Good work Dennis. As with many things with ProfiLux there's usually more than one way to accomplish most tasks.
