I'm back.

Updated pic. I upped the lighting to 3 X 400 watters. The 2 ends are 20K XM's and the middle is a Giesemann 13K (marine bulb).

Changed from a AquaMedic ReefDoser Dual to a GEO 618 calcium reactor. I have had GEO's reactors on other tanks and was always happy with them. Tried the dosing thing, but I think I prefer my reactor.

rendos, did you like the aqua-medic reef doser system???? I'm thinking of picking one up to do daily water changes with. any feed back?

thanks!

I did. As a matter of fact, I still use one on another tank. I just like the reactor better for a large tank.

Yes for a large tank you need one - BUT I hate the low PH from the CR you always need a kalk reactor to balance the low PH .
If my tank was smaller I will definitely go with two part and auto doser.

Here is an updated picture.

And after much consideration, I have one of these coming...

I hope this thing cooks, cleans, and gives great massages for the price I had to pay.

THe Schuran media is great! I hope that you have seen a big difference now that the tank is on autopilot. The internal pH of the reactor should be around 6.2 to 6.3 to effectively utilize it. As a bonus, go to a garden center, buy some dolomite, but about 5 to 10 percent of the volume of the reactor with the dolomite and your Mg will never falter.

I like the new set up and love your centropyge!
