Well, after taking some time away, I'm back. My tank is still running, and I finally finished my basement. Quite a ways back, I picked up a 75 gallon from Hinch. It is drilled and has an overflow, but no plumbing. I'm needing some help with getting this thing set up to flow into a sump below (I have a 20 but it isn't baffled or anything yet). My first challenge is to get bulkheads fitted and plumbing put in. When getting bulkheads, what measurement do I need? I'm assuming the diameter of each hole, but a year ago I ordered bulkheads and they were way too big. Not sure what went wrong. Anyway, what all will I need? I've heard of a Durso standpipe What's involved with that? I appreciate the help. If anyone is up for the challenge and wants to actually help with this, let me know. I've never done one and would rather not "experiment" for months trying to get it right. Looking forward to getting this piece done before building a hood, buying lighting, and making the transfer from 55 gallong into this one.
Thanks,
Jason
By the way, if Hinch is still around, he may know what size bulkheads I need???
