I'm looking for some sand or crushed coral.

I was just wondering if anyone has any crushed coral or marine sand that they might be willing to part with. My sand bed is very thin and I needs a little thickening. I'd rather not go the route of play sand as the last bag of it that I got at HD for my remote DSB seems greyish. I was offered a bucket of sand a few years ago and passed it up but I'm kicking myself now.

I've heard that the play sand is not good. I don't think it has much buffering capacity - more silica than carbonates.

Petco has sand as well as Petsmart also

Goose: I've heard the same thing. Also some think it could leach silica but there were some "differing" opinions about that.
