I would pull the stags and replace them with acros that grow more dense and contained. I also like the nice clean look. While the forest of acros is impressive, I just like the cleaner look of dense acropora colonies. I think stags get overwhelming and are sort of a distraction.
Stags just grow too fast and spindly.
Don't be afraid to pull / retire corals to replace them with new ones, I think you'll feel a great deal of relief. I had a big stag colony that was just taking up too much space in my tank, it was overwhelming that you didn't even notice many other corals. While I felt really bad about thinking of removing it, I felt huge relief after I pulled that sucker out.
Just find good homes for them if you can.
