I'm officially back!!!

It looks like there could be a lot of Chaeto and deturius from the refugium. I have mine set up much like yours and I get a lot of extra chaeto in my return section, which sometimes ends up in the display. I guess that is just something I need to live with.

Actually, I get minimal strands of chaeto in my return section. In fact, there is probably 0 strands of it in the main tank. I do have a lot of algae growth because it is a new tank. What's great is that all the algae growth is in the sump and the main tank is nuisance algae free.

Here is a pic of the anthia that got a sex change.:) She is now officially a He! Pardon the horrible pics but it is almost impossible to take pics of these fish. Btw, they are now eating cyclopeeze flake!

Thanks Art. If you are going to get them, I suggest buying them as your first fish. That way, you can acclimate them slowly to reef temps and there will be no competition for food. Another bonus is the fact that they would be the only fish in the tank and they would not feel threatened. I've had them in 73-74 degree water and now I am going to be ramping up the temps to around 75-76.

Well, a little update before this thread is lost forever. I added a bunch of frags thanks to the generosity of Tim Plaza (TFP) and today, I received a few frags from VaporMD thanks to ED at K M Associates (Ed volunteered to ship them for me). Here are a few pics of the extremely young tank:

Glad the frags made it to you in good condition! They look great. You've got quite a collection of nice frags going. Too bad our corals don't grow as fast as our kids!

How are the anthias doing?

Thanks guys! The anthias are doing great. To be honest, I am tired of feeding them 3-4x/day. I think I will reduce it to 2x soon.

I just made a 400 mile rt journey for one sole objective: frags!!:) Special thanks go out to Karl, Xia, and Rommell. Here are a few pics of my new acquisitions:

What a trip; 400 miles for a couple corals. I am glad everything is doing well and you like the nebulas.
