Was your H&S skimming for you? Was it smaller than the ATB small? Don't they use the same pumps?

The H&S was skimming a decent amount when I first received it. It did slow down considerably the past couple months. That's when I decided to try the atb. I think what happened is that the H&S took out most of the nutrients from the newly established tank and then it proceeded to slow down.

No, I picked up this one because it was at the auction and I did not see anyone else to bid on it. I had an orange fungia for almost two years until my clowns killed it by trying to host in it
