Did you contact aquactic gallery about LR? Everytime I am there I always look thru their bins. They usually have some nice tongan.

I should have just gotten it local. Oh well, lesson learned. The small tank is not going to be used for rock. It is drilled at the bottom.

Didn't you mention somewhere that you were going to gravity feed your top off? I have seen that done with small tanks that are drilled

Get a refund on shipping fees. If hub nearby, pickup from the delivery company's hub.

Hehe, funny guys! We shall see what it looks, err smells like on Mon. Shipping will be refunded for sure. Dr. Mac said I could refuse delivery and they would ship out some more rock. I need to decide what to do.

I think you should just go with dry rock and take longer to cycle like me so I don't get left behind

If I were you I'd probably just refuse delivery and get a new batch =/ No need to get something less than what you expect and have to deal with.

If they decide to give me a discount on the rocks, then I'd probably just take them as is. I can treat it like base rock, I suppose.

It sounds like things are really coming together . Bummer about the rocks. I think I would refuse the shipment and get a new batch. But then again if you don't mind the extra cycle time and the aroma....

Thanks Alicia. Well, I can't figure out UPS. They delivered one box of rock yesterday and left the other box in Oakland, lol! I didn't see the box until this morning. I took a video by mistake instead of a pic as I was in a huge rush (ALMS races at Laguna Seca!) but you can see how nice this stuff is. Two huge thumbs up to Dr. Mac!

Why didn't you just order it from Los Angeles sang? You could have had it delivered airport to airport. Your so close that you would have had it the same day too The really nice rock that is very simialr to MI is called Bali Alor. The only difference is there are smaller pieces... Unfortunately, we won't be seeing any Marshall Island for at least 6 months if were lucky
