Hi guys, I recently put togetter a biocube 29 gal and has past arround 8 days and everything look good. I put 40 pounds of LS, 30 pounds of LR (witch I got pre-cured) and i bealive I'm ready to put a little cleaning crew in it. Does anybody has an objection?

Thank you again for all your help...:strooper:

id go for it just test everyday for a while and have water ready to do a water change, i was in working on my tank for hrs everyday for months and now its smooth sailing but it was alot of work at the beginning. good luck

I would test the water and make sure your water parameters are in line before you do anything. As long as everything test ok after a few days then you should be good to go. Testing ok meaning your Ammonia, nitrite should be undetectable. Nitrate should be approaching undetectable. Alk, temp, PH and Salinity should be in line.

i would still wait 30 days, theres many different bacteria that need to grow, i'm sure you'll still get diatom bloom and GHA from the sand.

Yes, I have test already two times and everyting is where it supouse to be, Amonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 0, PH 8.2, temp 78. I'm going to wait till fryday and then I will visit the store to see what they recomend me to by for testing. Any opinions?...

30 pounds of live rock in a 29gal i doubt youll even see your first spike of amonia or nitrite. just go slow. and if you live rock was added after being out of a tank for a while you might have spike due to die off but if it was quick i wouldnt worry.
