Impatiently waiting on dreambox

My dreambox was ordered mid November and shipped mid march 😀

But now stuck in customs for the last week 😓

It's all good though because room still isn't quite ready yet

Very nice!! It will have been worth the wait! Just wait until you see it! Chances are, had it arrived sooner, you would have contemplated using it for the main display and not setting up a tank! We had one customer who had his setup on top of his stand for a number of months while he waited for his custom tank. He joked about putting the tank under the stand. I need to find those pictures!

Customs will likely clear it in the next few days or so. Sometimes they go through really fast while others, not so fast. Much of it depends on the airport and the backlog in customs.

Thanks guys for the compliments

And thank you to Marco and Scott for all your help every step of the way though the ordering process

And of course a big thanks to Klaus and Torsten.

Love love that little impact driver

I was pretty surprised when I saw the weight of the box (180kg)!

The build quality is everything everyone said and more. They even went to the trouble of chamfering all the edges of the crate. (No slivers :eek1:) I've unpacked a lot of crates and have never see one like this :D

LOL.. I always tell people that they ship it like a coffin. Those crates are beasts. They don't mess around when it comes to packing those things right. I had the pleasure of unpacking a couple at Macna this last year and that took more time than putting the Dreambox together! That said, those Dreamboxes aren't light themselves. They weigh a heck of a lot by themselves and your Dreambox is a pretty big one too! Now you just need to post some pictures of it outside the crate so we can all see it! That gray is really nice and it's not something we see often on this side of the pond.

Unfortunately pics out of the crate will have to wait a while, just found out yesterday that my cabinets(that the dreambox are going to sit on)are delayed till mid may. So I'll be repeating patience is a virtue to myself over and over lol.

That's awesome Mike810! Can't wait to see your setup.

Here are some pics they sent to me so far. Did you have to find your own customs broker?

Looks really nice, what was the reasoning behind putting the media reactors in different sections? Is it an 8d?

It's an 8D and the reactor will run biopellets. Wanted it closer to the skimmer section. It will also be easier to change out the media in both reactors since they're not bunched up right next to each other.
