If you are trying to do firmware updates over USB please remove the data lead from S1S4 and PAB prior to doing the update, this also applies to S5S8
After doing this please continue with the update over USB to USB.
Some reported drop outs when attempting to do firmware updates over USB, the reason for this has been found that certain devises spike when switching off creating a USB signal drop out, by unplugging the cable no spike can occur.
The next firmware version will have an auto shut off built in prior to the upload starting.
