in need of a sump/fuge combo tank to go under a 55

hey guys ive been a lurker for sometime now and my friend and i are finally putting together a tank.

right now we are in need of a sump/fuge combo that would fit under a 55 gallon tank.

please let me know if anyone has anything for sale.

I have a 20g long that is partitioned off with a section for a fuge, a return pump area and a set of baffles all siliconed in place. I have been using it on my 29g tank for about 6 months and it works great. I a couple weeks away from not needing it anymore so if you can wait I have just the thing you may want.

The 20 gallon long tanks are 30"x12"x12" so it will fit under your 48" stand.

I can send a pic or two if you are interested and can wait a little bit before needing it.

I don't have anything for sale, but here's a pic of my DIY fuge w/ sump under a 55....very tight fit!!! If you have the opportunity to get a 75 instead I highly recommend it. My gallery has a ton of pics on how I modified mine AFTER the fact. Not easy but can be done. I had to fit the 10g in the stand w/ no rear access (tank was already set up).

This picture of my tank is rather old, but the sump/fuge is still the same....This set up is definitley "jury rigged" !!

I have a glass tank that is the same "footprint" as a 55 but only about a foot tall. It would fit exactly under a 55 and give the max volume and air/water interface possible under a 55. It's probably about 35 - 40 gallons.

well im looking specifically for the combo unit as i want to get a nice fuge going and i have a submersable skimmer to use.

You could combo the 40 with a sheet of glass to segregate a back corner for the the skimmer/sump and the rest of the gallonage for the 'fuge. That would give you a nicer view than most setups since the refugium would be upfront and all the way across the tank.

i am also in need of an overflow... so if anyone has one let me know.

and sorry guys i do not want a DIY sump where i have to add partitions... just too much work that im not looking for.

id like a premade sump/fuge with all the partitions already in it. Preferably done by the manufactuter.

Actually, there is a lot of stuff in that eBay deal, for the price and even with shipping. It's now down to the last two of a multiple auction. And, if you were wondering, it is designed to fit under a 55 gallon tank.
