In Wall 400g DT (600g+ System)

Very nice build!

Not just with the tank and fishroom itself, but even with the viewing area and exterior layout.

Aquascape's lookin' good too.

Both Pellet Reactors online, and here is a video of the final setup with the three rectors working:

Bought today new powerheads to increase flow in the tank, principally on the lower side as I have some cyano and dead spots which need it:

Will sync them as Slaves of the MP60's, will post pics once installed.

Christmas in August...gotta love it.

I shot you a pm on RS regarding the light rack drawings...thanks again !

Thanks Jim,
Just read it, as my office computer has the 3D software I'll look into these tomorrow, hope we can finalize it so you can give it to the welder as soon as possible.

How's the cycle doing?

I'm looking forward to the final renderings ! I might take your advice and have the light rack made out of light weight steel and powder coated.

The tanks been cycled after two weeks. I'm just getting the QT ready and will seed those hydro sponges as soon as I get them.

Please post all the medicine you ordered when it comes in !

Amazing. Now thats a tank. lol Definatly keeps us updated with pics.

Thanks Castaway,
I sure do love posting pics :D

looks great other than the fact that you dont want to run a sponge in a bio pellet reactor

Thanks Nixer, I will remove them once I get the TLF Screens, I ordered some GEO ones but the holes are way to big and the pellets will surely end in my sump.

As I got now a total of 4 Vortech's I would like some suggestions for placing them on the tank.

Thanks in advance.

You can try 2 on the left panel where the sps will be. One in the back middle. And one on the right side panel where the softies will be. You'll be able to meet flow requirements of the species that way.

#3 looks good to me. Keeping the MP60s on the tank ends will allow you to ramp them 100% and the whole tank will benefit. I think if you position one on the back of the aquarium, you'll likely end up throttling it down.

Well, option 3 is now established, now I need to define the best modes and programming of each pump throughout the day.

The backwall pump was placed directly hitting the second column of the tank so lots of flow is been scattered around it, intention here is when having SPS that these receive flow underneath them to remove debris or bubbles and of course to keep pushing trace elements and food into them.

Any suggestions for the modes, programming more than welcome.

Yesterday I got the chance of bring back my Multicolor Angel from the LFS's hospital Tank, first introduced him into the Acclimate XL and 1 hour later into the QT tank.

Here is the system connected:

And a little crappy video of him within the Acclimate XL:

BTW, I removed the pictures above as they had problems, here are the options for the pump placement, Ecotech suggested #2 as it would have better flow that way, so will take their recommendation.

Here is a quick video I took today at all my QT tanks (At least the 20's) in action, the Multicolor is in the one with the hood above.

The tanks show two lines, the first one says 20g which is the top line and it holds 20gals (Measured based on the inner volume) and the second one 18gals, second one is the lowest line during water change.
