In what order multiple tangs can be added?

I have a Philippines yellow tang already in my 42g, but as iv got my new 130g (cycling) im planning to this new tank. Im plannin on 2 more tangs:
1) sailfin or scopas.
2) regal or powder blue.

In what order should i add?

My yellow phili is approx 2.5" only as of now.

I'd add the Zebrasoma (scopas, sailfin) before the powderblue - I don't think it'd make as much difference with the regal blue tang, as they're not nearly as aggressive as powderblues.

Powderblues, achilles and purples all seem to be the fish everyone says "Add them _last_" about ... but what if someone wants two or more of those three, lol?!

Kool. I dont like agressive fishes, i guess ill go for regal then. So basically i can add my phili first then sailfin/scopas then regal. Right?

I would not add any on your list except for the Scopas. Your tank is too small for those tangs. You should only do 2 small tangs in that size tank.
 
130 gallons is hardly "small". However, tangs are free swimmers and need length to be able to swim besides the size some of them can reach. I'm not on the tang police bandwagon, but my new tank is about 270 gallons but at 7 feet long I "personally" felt I'd be pushing it for a regal. I'll be getting one anyway, but a 130g is possibly too small long term unless it's a really long custom tank. Also, even if healthy otherwise, you will fight against aggression or disease more.

But i already have a Philippines yellow tang. I dont mind scopas tang over sailfin, however powder is my fav, but coz of its agression issues, im plannin to go for regal. My tank dimensions are 54x24x24"

A healthy Regal can reach up to a foot long. That would be close to 25% of your entire length. That's not much swimming before running into glass. Again, from me, take it or leave it, but try to visualize that and imagine if it would be happy. Also, be prepared for the more virulent tang police :)

Edit: Maybe look and consider a Kole. Maybe a bristletooth but someone else will have to comment on if it would get along with what you already have. Just tossing out ideas.

I think of not adding a regal then. Yea i like a yellow eye kole, but very rare and very expensive in my country (india). Are sailfins and scopas agressive? Im planning to buy juvs.

I've never had either a sailfin or scopas. However, the sailfin gets HUGE! A scopas gets up to a foot long as well but being zebrasoma probably would be much easier to care for compared to a regal if pushing the limits. I'll leave that to others though, so don't take my input on those beyond observations because I've never had them. Bummer though that a Kole is expensive there :(
 
IME, Sailfin and Scopas can be aggressive. I would not choose the Sailfin. They can get up 13-15 inches and most will agree they need at least a 8ft tank. What tangs are common in your area.
 
Sorry to tell you, but your tank is too small for those Tangs.

I have 5 Tangs in my 8' tank. All are juveniles. The largest is Naso at 5" and the smallest is a Blue at 3". When the Naso charges because he gets scared, to capture food, or to ride the waves, he can cover more than half of my tank in a blink of an eye. Can you imagine how much space he will need when he mature at 12". My Yellow at 4" big, can cover from one end to another in about a second.

Tangs are big swimmer, they grow fast, and if they feel crowded they get aggressive. There are plenty of other beautiful fishes more suitable for smaller tanks.

Naso, unicorn, powder browns/blues, purple (way too expensive) and almost all tangs that grow really huge.

So what do u suggest? My Philippines yellow tang im keeping anyways. Maybe ill try to save money for a kole or a tomini (however i dont like tomini much) are koles agressive like pbt?

From the photo, it looks like a Lemon Peel Tang. It can get up to 8". I wouldn't add any more Tangs in 54" tank. it is not just the tank water volume that matters, but the length of the tank.

Why don't you consider other fishes? There are plenty of beautiful fishes more suited for your tank size. You may even enjoy the varieties for fishes.

I agree. I have 3 tangs in my 240 (8ft) and they are always on the go and fast. In 54 inch long tank, that should be your only tang.

Can u suggest me a blue fish thats nit a damsel or a tang? My fav colour is blue..

I have had 2 yellow tangs a scopas and a desjardini in a 125. And they all got on perfectly fine. They schooled together and were always together. I'm just talking on the aggression side. For some reason my scopas got stuck behind a rock and died and my salifin did the same. There was no aggression between any of them
