I know, I know, I read the sticky and I read the names of the clowns that it hosted, my only question is, is that in your experience, would any other clowns besides the following host in a LTA?

A. chrysogaster
A. clarkii
A. perideraion

Thanks,
Steve

Also, what are your views on the difficulties of keeping Long Tentacled Anemones, are they one of the easier nems to keep like a BTA, or are they on the intermediate level as far as anemones go? Anyone know anywhere where I could find some more information on their care, habits, etc.?

I personally have had Clarkiis, pink skunks (perideraion), Ocellaris, and a Cinnamon (melanopus) hosted by an LTA.

I have found that LTAs are fairly easy to keep ( though think that BTAs are a lot easier ), if you get a healthy one. Seems that is you get past the 2 month mark they are pretty hardy. This is assuming that you are giving them the right conditions. A deep enough sand bed is key -- doesn't have to be the whole tank, but where the anemone is is key.

Have found that a good amount of them come in with some damage to their foot, and I have yet to bring one back to health when they come in like that.

Clarks, occs, pinks, and maroons here.
A little more light needy than BTA, little better water quality, but no traveling like a BTA.
Med/high light, med flow, DSB, space to grow.

May I ask how long their tentacles can get...? I don't know if that is possible to answer, but wanted to know if I have to move some of my corals.

At least 6 inches. I believe any of the clowns would use a LTA as a host if they did not have their natural host. I have had Clarkii, Ocellaris, Percula, tomato, and Maroon in my LTAs.
