Has anyone purchased from them recently? I would really like one of their reef packs. Can the same things be found locally in California? If so where?
They have many items but im interested in:
worms, sandbed clams, hawaiian turbo, strombus grazers, amphipods, pinky cuke, hawaiian reef brittle stars.
I have been to many LFS but never seen these things sold.

I'm browsing these forums currently with the same exact question. I also live in CA and have the ipsf.com window open in another browser, but shipping so far and dealing with FedEx signatures is such a pain.

I'm still looking around and if I find anything I will let you know.

Here's my follow-up:

I couldn't find anything at all locally so I decided to give IPSF at try. It was actually my first time ever ordering livestock online. I did the $99 Mix-N-Match special and got most of the items you were looking at.

Anyway, they shipped the box out yesterday and it arrived today (from their door in Hawaii to my door in northern CA in 24 hours... crazy fast shipping!) Everything was alive and packed incredibly well. Everything separated, double bagged, two heat packs and packaged in a styrofoam box inside a cardboard box. After acclimating, everything is alive and well in my quarantine tank right now.

Tons of life... macro algae was filled with big, fat 3/16" amphipods... bristleworms were all bigger than I thought they would be which was nice... I'd estimate maybe 1" each. The snails are really lively and cool looking ... if you order from them, get the "strombus grazers" for sure... pretty interesting to watch and I've heard they reproduce readily.

Hope this helps...
