Informal get together for locals

Yep- over, done, and buried.

Ok, moving on.

Next Sunday is the next "Get together" at my place in in Gibsonia - about a mile from the turnpike exit on Rt 8 at 5 pm. PM or email for address, phone, and directions.

So far - Kevin, Dawn, Pittsburgh , and Jamie and wife are in. And a few maybes.

I think I will start a new thread so it is not so long and hopefully will only contain info about the "get togethers" from now on. I will transfer the list of interested parties over to the the new thread.

Sorry man, I like you but enough is enough. Dealing with outside nonsense like this is much of the reason that I stepped away.

Bluntly:

You are the person who lit the fire in the first place. Each time somebody tries to respond, you aggressively lob another Molotov cocktail and then passively say "lets move on" as the flames grow. You say you have been "nice". No sir, you have been a passive aggressive instigator.

You were, with very sound reasoning, privately asked not to use the FB page or PMASI forum to organize your get-togethers. The mess here is the result of your choice of words and disposition in public response to that private conversation. You have helped to portray the club's actions as being aimed at preventing competition or against those that are not club members. Nothing could be further from the truth. You as a long time club member know better.

You have knowingly allowed others, many who have never been to a club meeting, to pile on and give this nonsense legs, all the while telling us you want to help grow the membership.

At this point the "issue" has NOTHING to do with get-togethers. Attention long ago turned to walking back the nonsense and attempting to correct the misinformation that continues to grow from the seed you planted and continue to water.

Ok, so it seems at this point, I'm putting myself in the middle here. First and foremost, most of you I know personally and want to keep whatever friendship we have the way it is. If this affects that in any way, I'm sorry.

The PMASI forum here on Reef Central is part of PMASI. They in good standing monitor this as part of their agreement with Reef Central. There was a period of time in the last few months that this wasn't the case, that has already been hashed out. I have also been informed this has changed. With the election of new board members next month the club should be good to go. I shall be there most of the time and hope to see everyone there.

This next part will be about meets outside of the club. Please have all discussions in a different way. Phone, PM, email, whatever, just not on the site here, at least for now. Go to a club meeting, discuss it there, not here.
