thought I might post this here also to see if any of the DIY gurus know:
one of the airsupply lines for my dual beckett MRC became clogged the other day, so I simply started blowing on the end of the line. Not only did this action free the clog, but with prolonged blowing, I noticed that the foam head in the skimmer increased dramatically.
I am driving a dual beckett mr3 with a pcx-70 pump. Does a pretty decent job.....but, would there be any benefits to hooking up a really large air pump to push extra air thru the becketts?? Any potential drawbacks? (besides the extra watts to run the airpump)
