I'm looking for an inline external pump for when I do water changes. Right now I'm just using a power head but with that I can't get all the junk out of my sump.
Any recommendations? Do you sell anything that I can use?
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to weigh in. :reading:
Aquarium pumps do a great job of pushing water. But, are not designed to siphon water. So, as ClownMan727 and other hobbyists have found out, a shop vac is usually the best option.
If a filter sock is used, the sump should stay fairly clean and only needs to be thoroughly cleaned out once or twice a year.
