Intelligent pistol shrimp ?

I set up a 5.5 nano for a yellow watchman goby/tiger pistol shrimp pair. Flow is a 200 gph powerhead with two returns via locline. I noticed that the tunnel entrances were setup in such a way that flow/food went into the tunnel entrances. When I rearranged the locline tunnel entrances were moved to be in flow again.

It would appear that the pistol shrimp adjusts the tunnels to get maximum flow/food into their tunnels. Anybody else observe this ? Or is my pistol shrimp just gifted and talented ?

i think it's normal, mine did that too, i think they choose the place in the aquarium that have better conditions. Mine yellow goby and pistol shrimp choose one place where the food always passed .
