Uh, that's kind of unfair, shady, and possibly against the rules. If you did that on a poker table, you'd get dragged out back and roughed up......and would deserve it too, LOL!
Even if this idea wasn't against eBay's policies (which I'm sure it is), this would last for what, a handful of auctions before sellers stopped bothering with eBay?
If i sell something locally for $40 and I list it on eBay and get $37, the process is relatively worth it if I end up selling more stuff.
If I list it on eBay and it starts selling for $7 I will stop selling there.
Capitalism just sort of works itself out that way....lol.
I'd be surprised if there were an actually ebay policy on this. LOL It just doesn't happen because it really can't work.
I suggest auctionsniper if you want to win cheaper auctions, stop driving the price up throughout the whole listing. Let the others think they have it won for a dollar, and the BAM you snipe it at the last second.
The seller can just have a private account & bid to keep pieces from going too cheap. You won't get something nice for nothing. But deff better than market or lfs store price.
