After initially trying unsuccessfully to hunt/catch this guy, we made a truce and I've really grown to like him. He seems to behave with respect to the other critters in the tank (as far as I can tell) but I'm constantly wondering when the day is going to come when he snaps and goes on the killing spree that others have warned of.
I feed him shrimp and the occasional fresh clam and he now comes out and "begs" when he sees me and grabs food off of a skewer when I offer it.
I enjoy having him but I also enjoy my porcelain crabs, hermits, stars, clams, worms, etc etc that are there too.
Is there anyone in the Seattle area with a TBS tank who would be interested in taking him on?
Of course, that's contingent on being able to catch him but since he's almost eating out of my hand I'm thinking that'll be easier than when I first tried.
