Interested in Raising Nemertean Gorgon Worms with a Branching Proboscis

Hey All !

Recently I have become quite interested in the Nemertean Worm with the branching Proboscis.

Does anyone here know how to specifically source and then raise Nemertean worms?

Specifically the really popular ones in videos these days, I find them infinitely fascinating, and am absolutely serious about building an aquarium with these very strange worms.

Don’t know anything about them but it looks like they’re predatory. So, you’ll need to determine the specific prey for the species you want to provide that.

Other than purchasing live rock and hoping you’ll get one, I don’t know if a source. And, being a predator, it will be difficult to source them from hobbyist vendors, maybe a scientific source???

An “alternative” may be to get a Medusa worm (my LFS gets these in occasionally). Otherwise, a better bet may be to try to reach out to the video creators to see if they can collect some for you.
