pammy, I think you are probably correct about what happened to your clownfish. I have a citron goby that sits on my Duncans (the coral just retracts) and even a Lubbock's wrasse that likes to swim all around the heads. Although the tentacles are always adhesive when I go to feed, I have never noticed any of my fish having a problem with the coral -- but that is just my experience.

Wireefman,
Each polyps around 2" in diameter. In the first pic the Colony is around 30 heads and about 12" wide. I bought them from a tiny 6 head frag. I target feed all my corals my own special blend of food every 2-3 days.The heads on my Acans usually double or triple in size within a few months
 
i have mine under vho's they are doing well lwhat kind of lighting do you guys keep yours under? i love mu duncan one of my favorite corals. more pics please.

nice growth thats what maybe 7-10 heads since july.

i got a 20-25 head duncan with a bunch of babies coming in for like 50$ and its been opening up nicely. i need to get a decent picture of it soon.
 
I just got these a couple days after Xmas. Nothing crazy but I like them. Check out the after dinner photos , boy they can eat!
