Interesting/Sad Article about Burrfish

I found this to be a very sad article about a popular lagoon full of puffers and Burrfish that are left for dead on the beaches after being caught by anglers who don't want to release them back into the lagoon because they "are just bait stealers and will take your bait again a few moments after release them". So they leave them flopping around on the sand instead. Even worse, the guy who did the interviewers asked some school kids why they thought the puffers were being left to die on the beach and they had the same answer...It's absolutely disgusting what some parents teach their kids.

All too common a practice with many species of "trash" fish. I've seen it with Sea Robins, skates, etc. :(

Is sad. I would be happy to have one.:)
Up here in MO. we have Asian carp that got into our rivers from a farm during the 93 flood. When they jump into your boat, or you snag one. People toss them up on shore to die. The difference is the burr fish are supposed to be their, but the carp aren't.
