Interesting threesome...

My friend just recently took down his reef tank and gave me his female perc ( the blackest one in the background) which he had for about 2 years. I introduced it into my tank with my already existing pair I have had for 3 years and interestingly enough, they got along.
I think because my female is so much larger than the other that it doesn't see the new one as a threat. Every now and then it will casually pursue her and make a loud clicking noise, but no biting ever occurs. THe new female will actually twitch at the larger female than will playfully nip her tail.
My blue stripes on the left are growing fast and the female has tripled in size in 3 months.

I have had the the three fish together for about 3 months now and no problems. My female that I have had for 3 years still lays eggs with the other female near by. Its really wierd!! She just doesn't care. I think its because she has never really been aggressive towards other fish--very passive. I can touch her eggs and she doesn't even care.

why must there always be somone to rain on a parade.
anyway, that hand feading deal is cool, i have a false perc and he loves to do the same thing! way to go!! and congrats!!!!

Thats a really cute story. I really like your tank. I am interested in getting a mated pair of clowns. Can you tell me the other livestock in your tank please.
