Internal return pump recommendations?

Whats your fear on the externals? I know a few people had issues with the reeflo blowholes, but the pump they are designed around are crazy reliable and should last for years without fail and shouldn't dump water on the floor

ehiem, red dragon, quiet one. I have a nice size ehiem for my 93 cube I haven't started up yet - you can borrow for a week to try it out if you like. just give me a call.

Unfortunately I've gone the other way recently and have run all internal pumps just until last year when I got my first external Reeflo Dart. I've run Mag drives,Quiet Ones, eheims, for the most part and they all sieze up over time due to the the calcification that builds up in the impellers. As long as you have a regular vinegar soaking schedule I haven't found any that didn't exhibit this issue. If someone has found a new pump that has found a fix to this problem I'd love to hear about it.

When I ran my 2 Quiet One 9000s plumbed in parallel I at least had a backup all the time so I can disconnect the one that seized up to soak. That got old fast though.

I have had great luck with Tunze..I know a bit more $ but, the 1073.05 is the quietest pump I have ever NOT heard....
