Since this is the 'orientation' section of RC, it's worth pointing out 1) this is a family-friendly site frequented by youngsters as well as grown-ups. 2) people come in with all levels of expertise, from 'completely bewildered' to 'pretty good at this', and answers are intended to be as broadly informative as possible: people are not talking 'down' to you---they're trying to help less experienced bystanders understand what we're talking about. 3) please, if you run up against a person who is not observing family-friendly rules or who is not observing good manners, do not cast yourself in the same light and do not start a war: simply push that red-rimmed white triangle button under the avatar of the offender, and that will echo that post to the marble halls of RC admin. You may also add a comment. Mods will investigate, and we sincerely hope that we will find ONLY the inappropriate posts of one person, not a number of people involved. Stay out of the mud and report the problem, please. And never 'quote' a muddy bit in subsequent posts: it makes a nasty mess of the thread that mods have to clean up.
