Not sure but I think there are 3 people doing 50 golden astreas. Perhaps there is another person needing 50. Or do we do 200 among us?

I dont think some of my Astreas have a "righting reflex" even though I have BB. I see too many empty shells still even without hermits. That's why I want some micro hermits.
Not to side track the thread:uzi: but what's recommended to eat dertritus and doest have claws, eat fish/coral, or need sand? I think Bomber recommeded astreas to eat algae and ceriths to eat astrea poop, but reeftopia doesnt list them to be good dertritus eaters. I still have 2 brittle stars in the tank and they only get active at feeding time. My cuc. died with my chiller thing so maybe that's what I should get?

Don ~ Nassarius eat detritus and any excess food... I know they prefer sand though... Bumble bee snails supposedly eat detritus, but they spend most of the time hidden in rocks... I see mine come out once in a while if I shine a flashlight in the middle of the night...
Back to the topic ~ Treasurer Mel is going to be busy these next couple of weeks, so I can either collect or we can have the club pay for it??? And then make payments back to the club??? I don't care either way... LMK

Club's never fronted money for group buys, not sure how that would/could work but it's something to think about. I could put it all on my cc and collect from buyers since I took the lead on the order.
Randy, Could you get with I/O and see about timing of the order? If we order on X date, what date should we pick up? or would it ship direct to one of us? Should we just plan it for the 3rd sat so we can distribute at the mtg? (separate thread about next mtg will be my next post)
I have plenty of Nassarius shells under my starboard. They seem to smell the detritus under the board and never make it back up. When I do my new tank, I'm going to silicon the cutting board down. Even if it doesnt stick to the board, it will hopefully prevent gaps for snails and such to get through and stuck.

Don~ Got your e mail with the #'s... I'd like to give this thread through the weekend to see if we have any more to tack on... I'll call Matt (OI) and put in the order... I have to go up there to pick up a lighting fixture and can pick up the inverts then, or I can try and coordinate picking it up toward the meeting... Depends if people want it sooner or later... Its up to you if you want to put it on the credit card... Right now the order is sitting a bit above $300 not counting my order... So say about $350 if no one else adds in... Not sure if you want to front that much on your credit card??? If we're waiting till next meeting, people can paypal me or send me a check, and we can work the order like we did the salt order??? LMK
