I removed the displaytank and enlarged the hole...why ?? Because I need more space between the two display tanks so that I can have Tunze magnets

<a href="http://s256.photobucket.co...G_0395.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I used silikon on the bulkheads this time...there where some leaking earlier...not much but enough to loose sleep over.

<a href="http://s256.photobucket.co...G_0400.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

The second tank is ready for use with the drainpipe in place

<a href="http://s256.photobucket.co...G_0401.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

OK....Here we go again. I filled up the tanks with water again....very nervous. And guess what...it is leaking through the bulkhead on the right side. ooooooo #######

Well I guess you all understand that this was now a pain in the """ project, so I went to bed frustrated. My wife was understanding but at the same time really sick of the hole project....the few times she saw me I was swearing at the garage. hehe
BUT....the trip down in to the mud did not stop here....oh no... I woke up the next morning and went down to the garage and saw ...

I was donated a new tank again...hehe
Drilled it.
<a href="http://s256.photobucket.co...G_0408.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Placed it

<a href="http://s256.photobucket.co...G_0410.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

And then I rubbed the bulkhead so that there would be more "room" for friction amongst the tanks.

<a href="http://s256.photobucket.co...G_0411.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

And then I figured that I would not use rubber between the tanks anymore....I needed something that would not bend under force ( dead material). I ended up with two glasses between the tanks

OK....Now it is in place and I have fastend the bulkheads very lightly.

I filled the tanks only up to the lower part of the bulkheads.

<a href="http://s256.photobucket.co...G_0415.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s256.photobucket.co...G_0416.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I really felt secure about the tanks not cracking anymore and since I was so tired of the bulkheads I started to fill up the tank.

<a href="http://s256.photobucket.co...G_0423.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s256.photobucket.co...G_0424.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Well....I had to deal with the leaking bulkhead at some point so me and some fellow reefers did some brainstorming ( on a very high level) hehehe
