Has anyone been able to get this to work by installing from the appstore directly on an ipod touch?

I just borrowed a friends ipod touch (so I declare I know little about it but a lot about technology) and it is telling me it is "incompatible" after I click on the install button after successfully finding it via the appstore search.

I think I figured it out. After installing iTunes and reading the info on the app on there (which wasn't shown on the device) it appears a 2.2 update is needed for the touch. This makes sense as the one I borrowed was one he hasn't used for quite a while.

Now I just need to find a USB<->iPod Touch cable so I don't have to wait until Monday to play with this

Just saw the Palm Pre over at palm's site btw and it seems like it'll be easier to create a similar app for it since it is pure html and js -- and it can run in the background for alarms. That'll be cool.

I hope Neptune is creating a more friendly way to access data. I hope they are working on allowing data access on JSON format, in addition to XML, so it will be easier to use. Anyone from Neptune following the thread?

Yep, I am torn between an iPhone and a Palm Pre. Hopefully it will be easy to port to the WebOS used by the Pre.

That's the only thing that could make it better

It only shows my temp, pH, and orp. I have a second pH and temp.

I am using the app and love it.....I have a very similar setup as Aiko670, with TempA, ORPA and pHA1. The app only shows Temp, pH and ORP.
