Who's going to port this over to Blackberry?

Please leave zigzag alone. I am anxiously awaiting the next rev of the iphone app.

Great app!!! Thank you very much for make it available.

I'm not being able to configure it to access outside my local network (in which it is working fine). I have a dyndns account and I can access ACIII by any browser. I think I'm doing something wrong on my Siemens Gigaset Router. It just does not accept when I tried to add a new port 23 to port 23 and IP 168.2.050. Can anybody give me a tip ?

Tks!!!

I have an iPhone, have downloaded the AquaNotes program, now I just need to get an ACIII. Hopefully, maybe, I'll get one with my tax return!

Ok, so I have my dyndns set up, I have port 23 forwarded to 23, ran canyouseeme and the test of 23 was successful, I ran through the CMD routine that Melev posted and that works for me, yet still the app keeps just saying "connection failed" or "connection closed". I am going in circles over here, can't figure out where I am going wrong.

Edit: I can not get it to connect locally or over the net.

Have you tried checking the IP of the modem and put the real address in the iphone app? Does 198.162.1.50 work over local wireless?

Yes, I tried that and it did not work. Using the controllers IP does let me connect though...

edit: correction, I just tried using the controller's direct IP after you posted and it worked, then it stopped working.

Never mind, got it to work. I'm using Safari 4 Beta which my router was not recognizing to add port 23. Just used another Agent on Safari Menu and pronto! Router is configured and app is working perfectly. Thanks again !!!

Update?

Update?

Zigzag, any news on the update? Also, is there anywhere that those of us that heavily use this app could donate something to you? I know we all appreciate your hard work!

Anyone else want to donate?

Don

Ok, I'm not familiar with your router so I had to look up the manual online.

First, what you need to do is on the Port Forwarding page, uncheck all the boxes at the left and hit Save Changes. We won't be using the Port Forwarding page since it does not allow you to map a local port to a different port via the internet.

What you need to do is configure "Virtual Server" -- that's the first menu on the left, above "Port Forwarding." Configure it like this:

Save changes, and try it again on your iPhone.

I have the same d-link dir-655 and having the same problem port forwarding. i do have an account with dynds.com and have all of that set up. also i can access the AC3 by typing it;s ip in the search bar.

can some one help me with port forwarding, i been trying for 2 days with no luck.

thanks

i did erase every thing in port forwarding and went to virtual server.
now for the ip address i use my ip assigned to AC3 correct?
