iPhone App

elahav, try not to double-post the same question. See the other thread...

ESPECIALLY after a response was already posted in the other thread.

Okay, the new 2.0 version of AquaNotes for iPhone/iPod touch is submitted to the AppStore. <b>Please be aware that you will need to install the beta firmware to use it. If you have not, do not install it as it will not work with the older AquaController firmware.<b>

Still no go for me on 3G mode, must be something I did wrong, please help.

I AC3 IP is 192.168.1.60

So far wifi works fine, just not 3G.

Thanks

When does the update get posted to the AppStore?

BTW, how did any of you beta test it if it cannot be seen on the AppStore? I am trying to install the Firmware update this weekend, but I cannot do it without making sure the App is updated as well.

In DynDNS, the IP address is incorrect. 192.168.1.60 entered on DynDNS is your internal address. Change your DynDNS account to use the public/external address assigned by your ISP: 64.160.116.4.

Your ISP probably blocks connections to port 80. Change the rule in your router to something like 5580->80. Then, the URL you would use for the iPhone app or other access from the Intranet would be http://myac3.dontexist.org:5580.

Oh, and while this has nothing to do with the AC3 or iPhone app, disable IPv6 on all network interfaces on your Vista PC... it makes Vista's network performance take a big hit.

Thanks you much for your help, all working now.

Anthony

Oh yeah! It's there FINALLY!

I see a bunch of empty fields for O2 (Which I use) and pHA1 and ORBA (which I really do not use) since now they are pHB1 and ORPB

Also, I have no idea why... But when I got home, the AC3Pro was frozen... I mean nothing moving, AN could not connect to it. I had to power cycle it.

I can connect on port 23 using my dyndns.org account, but there is no data.......on port 80 it is telling me that I need the firmware upgrade.
