He's in Hollywood, Fla. and he "builds chillers". What he actually does is buy a window air conditioner, chop it up, remove the condenser and controls, add a home made heat exchanger and call it a chiller.
The one he sent me doesn't even run, and he ignores emails after payment is sent.

His ebay ad claims that the heat exchanger is Titanium, but I didn't open it up to check. I have a lead on his addy, so I may just have to take you up on that offer :thumbsup:

I'd never suggest actually acting on it, but it's calming to picture my hands around this guy's neck in my head. After all, I have been shafted to the tune of $1020.00

Right now, I'm counting on Paypal to do the right thing. I'm just glad I was able to let you guys in on his "business practices". If I save one RC member from doing business with him, I'll feel good about it.

a friend Bmanzie on here...his build thread is deep down south 300 i think....he may have a pic of it on there ....bought a chiller from a guy that makes them local near hollywood....i think his has been fine though and not sure if its all black... look him up on here send him a pm he is a good guy and may be able to give you some info if its the same guy....

I don't want to make a federal case (literally) out of it yet, but that's certainly an option if Paypal fails me.
