Is everyone ok after the quake?

Thanks for your concern Luis. I hope you are ok too.

For me, it was the strongest quake I've felt in the 30 years I've been in California. And to my knowledge the first time ever water has sloshed out of my open top tank.

All my unglued arches held (yeah, that was lucky). I had two corals fall over, and one didn't land on anything but sand! So I have been very fortunate, as long as I can still find all my fish when they're up. :)

Everyone else ok?

Fine over here. Lost an acro onto some zoas, and about a gallon of water on the floor. Otherwise fine.

This one felt more violent than 1989 by far. Hope everyone else is ok

Dang man that's great that so far no damages in the club.. I guess a nvr member from Napa is in bad shape right now with a 200g leaking. He has a post on the nvr website asking for help I'm not sure who he is though..

I was actually awake when it happened and after looking at my kid next thing I did was go check the tank. It was a long shaker that's for sure.. Here's to hoping that wasn't just the beginning to a big one..

I grabbed my three y/o daughter and booked out of the house. My tank is right by my entry and my lights were SWINGING like crazy. After it stopped I passed the kiddo to my wife and grabbed some towels and a bucket of sw and went to work.

Priorities......lol

Hope all your tanks are ok I saw there was a quake on the news this morning. I live in Vancouver bc north of cali just waiting for our turn we have not had a big quake in a long time. Knock on wood lol.

Had some water splashed on to one of my power strips and tripped it, I think I lost my battery back up. Also spend about two hours getting my tank up and running again since the one power strip killed everything.
No significant damage that I notice on my side, hope that a lot more people were as fortunate as I was.

Glad to hear the good news that people weren't really affected. We grabbed our daughters and went outside since our neighborhood doesn't have large structures or trees that can topple. I did run back inside to make sure the two tanks were fine. Odd my rim less didn't spill but my 120 did throw out about a gallon on to the floor. Glad it wasn't bad but still prepared for an after shock in the next week.

I had a bunch of water come out of my rimless, also the water ruined my apex display, it's sitting in rice right now hoping it'll bounce back, but no corals fell

That's good I'm glad you're all doing good and hope all your tanks will prevail. I have about 3000 or so gallons of fresh water I had to check this morning at work but as most of you it was all fine just some water on the floor. Did check my moms freshwater and my vivarium it all was fine.

I just got back from napa, a guy had his biocube completely break, and his 160XL Elos is leaking, so much loss of coral it was so sad to see

Sorry for the late input. We were out of town most of yesterday...

Sloshed about a liter of water from the 120. No other issues that I can tell. My home made stand on the 120 held up fine!!

This Napa LFS really got hit!

FYI - it's not recommended to go outside during a quake. A large number of injuries are from falling house parts. Mostly masonry like chimneys. Best place is interior doorways. It's hard to fight the urge to GET OUT!
