Is he molting?

I've had my Mantis is his home tank for about 2 weeks now. I've been feeding him 3x a week (Tue, Thu, Sat). For the most part hes been pretty shy but last week I notced him coming out more trying to chip pieces of rock. I threw in a handful of rubble from the main and he gathered them all up and plugged up the ends of his pipe(aka burrow). I have not seen him since feeding on Saturday morning, today When I put in his food he unplugged his burrow, peered out and hasn't taken the food. Does it sound like hes molting? If so how long does the process take?

Nevermind, he just started pushing stuff out of the burrow, out came his smashers and his tail section.

His head looks a little lighter than before, but I've heard that N. Wenns can change color.

...he molted-thats how mantises change color. Sorry for not posting, I figured that you would have seen my molting thread by the time I got online.
