Is It Normal for growth on only one tip of your SPS?

I have a small colony of Green Millepora that I have had for about a month. It is encrusting fast but only one of its tips are growing. Is this normal?

After a couple of months you will see growth on the other tips, it's a perfectly normal thing.

that happens alot should start to sprout more stalks ..do you have it in front of a power head?

Not directly in front of a powerhead but it is getting a good amount of flow.
