Is Kole Tang a Good Fit?

I have a 90 gallon reef with a longnose hawk, a bonded pair of black clowns, and an unhappy Bartlett's Anthias. All have been together for at least a full year. I also have a bunch of various inverts.

I a Kole Tang and appropriate addition. I'm looking for a larger fish that will bring some activity to the view but that won't be a bully.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Mine swims all over the the tank and hides and munch on algea on the glass then hides the swim cross tank then hides, very active I like it alot and think minimum tank for it is 70 G (might be wrong)

I have a blue eyed kole that I love. It's one of my more active fish, always out pecking around. You have a good sized tank and good tank mates so I'm sure you'll like it.

You should be fine. I bought a small one for my 40 as it should have been fine until I get my bigger tank going. I had issues with him beating up any other algae eaters In the tank. As long as you do not plan on any algae blennies or gobies I'd say your good. But if you plan on adding any more fish is wait and put him in last.

I would also look at bristletooths, there are different varieties of them, they stay smallish as tangs go and great grazers
Check two spot and squaretails on LA

I have a Yellow Eyed Kole. Put him in my 90 Gallon about a week ago and he minds his own business just pecking around all the time...No problems out of him at all...He does crap alot
