I've always planned on getting one but never thought it would be from Petco (um). He was in one of their tanks. I hate to bash Petco, but in Erie they are sad. Anyway they didn't know what he was. First he was a strawberry. I said no this is your strawberry. So then it was a neon... Don't argue w the lady. Cost me 21 buks (lol). Had him like a month. He is beautiful under the lights gives off a glow that looks like you could touch it. Very timid. Anyway my question, some of you know where they get their fish. What are the chances that Freddy is from the Red Sea? He doesn't act tank bred. A damsel I "had"chased him around until he found escape hole. (people please don't get damsels to cycle your tank. One will live you will get attached to him and then you are stuck with a fish that wont allow any others). That spooked him but the damsel never saw him again. He has found his cave system and rarely comes out. I hope he's wild, Guess it doesn't really matter tho does it? Hes my Favorite.

The difference between an ORA orchis dotty and a wild is about $80 honestly. They are not often wild caught these days due to captive breeding.

Well at least not in the US, I bet they are cheaper in the EU.

Well I've had Fred for a while. He is finally starting to come out. He is very skiddish. What a beautiful fish. He has a glow, an aoura (sp). I'm very pleased...
