Is my hammer coral dead?

Any fish or inverts to possibly bother it? How's the flow, too strong? What kind of lighting did it come from and what do you have?

Yellow tang or emerald crab possibly. It came from a tank with t5 lighting that are actually identical to mine just a different length it did fall over in the sand and then I used flu all sea epoxy to fix it into place

With that being said, it looks in very poor shape but I am one of the mind set that I leave them in my tank until there is no hope of recovery.

I also have Xenia, star polyps and zooanthids in different parts of the tank that are doing great. The flow on it is low and placed towards the bottom of my 38gallon tank

I really don't think it's coming back. Unfortunately it's "dunzo"

I used a turkey baster to give it some phytoplankton hoping that it would give some kind of reaction but none so far

Any ideas what could have cause the death being so shortly after I got it are they super sensitive while being transported or anything like that it was in a large bag for such a small coral and did lay on its side for the 40min car ride

That is a dead skeleton, this one won't be coming back. So yes it's dead.

How long was it in the sand when it fell? This could have caused BJD.

Also the guy at the pet store told me to acclimate it by dumping a cup of water in the bag every 15min for an hour. Is that correct sorry this was my first attempt at an lps and just want to see if I can figure out the cause so that I could make another attempt
