Is she expecting?

Thanks for your time.

I have a pair of Ocellaris clowns. They have been in my tank for about three months. Probably 2-2.5 inches for the bigger one. During the last 36 hours the female has become VERY agressive chasing her male around the tank. So much in fact that he spends alot of time hiding. This evening I looked closer and noticed the female is a bit round in the tummy. They still sleep together in their RBTA.

Think shes pregnant? Got any pics of pregant clowns?

if she is and she is ready to lay eggs she will be showing an ovipositor (sp?) this will be a little white tube coming out of her vernt (anus) and that is what the eggs are laid out of.

some pics might help

Unless they were adults when you got them 3 months is really fast for a juvenile to become a female.
