Tank as been setup for about 4 weeks.I have three small hermits in there also.

turn the lights off, dont feed him, don't check up on him every five minutes. just leave him alone to get comfortable for at least 24 hours.

dos he have shelter in there? like pvc or LR?

I had a n wennera before and it never acted like this. I have a piece of pvc in there for him/ her. I will take your advice and try. thanks

The behavior you describe is typical of animals that have been stressed during shipping - and/or with failed molts. Occasionally animals recover, but the prognosis is not good. Sorry, but other than time and seclusion, I don't know what else to suggest.

This is what he looks like. He stays curled up like this all the time.

It has been one week and, he straightings out sometimes, but most of the time he is culed up. He is eating just hopeing he pulls out.

The shrimp acts normal, until it sees you coming near the tank.It goes around forging , and checking out the live rock, when it sees you it starts doing flips. Any body else have one that does this

mine has never done that before but it sounds like hes doing it less now... maybe he'll pull through after all *fingers crossed*

His previous owner didn't happen to be a circus clown or a gymnist?

That's pretty odd behavior, but if he acts normal untill you go up to the tank, it sounds like a learned response rather than stress.
Weird.

He is acting better, the guy i got him from , had it for a couple of days before i recieved it. It came in his live rock,i guess it is stressed from all the shipping.Wouldn't be cool if they did learn to do tricks. lol

I think is finally back to normal now,i just moved him into a 6 gallon nano. The small hermits have come up missing, imagine that. I will post pics as soon as i can. THANKS EVERYONE for your advice.
