Is there a reliable source for quality tridacnids anymore?

Tell me if you know of one. Unlike virtually everything else in this hobby the quality (color and size wise) and availability of clams has gone way down hill in the last several years.

I got all 3 of my current clams from pacificeastaquaculture.com Excellent customer service, good selection and mine are all over 4-5 inches when I got them. Check them out. If they don't have any up, just give tem a call and see when toey are going to get amymore in-- likely in a week or two if they are running short. Thing is they mostly only have T. Croceas. Still looking for me a good teardrop Maxima

My vote is for Clams Direct. I have purchased several clams from them and they are top notch. The customer service is the best. And what you see is what you get when you buy one.
Good luck finding a nice clam.

Pacificeast is awsome. Great Corals and excellent customer service. Also if you live in zone 1 on the east coast best deal ever. 15.99 shipping for anything that you order. Good Stuff

CLAM ALERT!! CLAM ALERT!!

Clamsdirect has just listed 10 pages of clam goodness!!! I was only able to look at 3 pages before I had to leave. There are some beautiful color / pattern combinations available. Get 'em before they're gone!

I happened to be online the minute they were put up. I got the pick of the litter so I couldn't resist getting 3

Oh you lucky bugger Cham, wich 3 did you get?

There are over 100 beautiful clams still available it looks like at www.clamsdirect.com

www.pacificeastaquaculture.com also has quite a few and a good deal if you wish to buy in bulk.

lol, I'll admit I was up late hitting the refresh button every half hour or so waiting for him.

It was a REALLY tough choice, there were SO MANY to choose from. My goal was to get three total, I wanted a bright blue, bright green and a unique colored third.

I think it is shipping out Monday. I post up tuesday.
There all 3" clams too.

Man you got some real beauties there cham. I noticed they posted they should get some croceas in April, so I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled out for those! ;)

Thanks.

I talked to the owner on the phone today (super nice guy btw) and he was telling me about not being able to get croceas out of vietnam but he hopes to soon.

He already has the next batch of clams in his QT but he won't post them for sale until he's had a chance to make sure they're pest free.

I'm impressed so far.
