Is there a rule of thumb as to how many Nems U can keep?

I have a 90g FOWLR with a small maxi mini and a GBTA thats has really done well in the tank. Can I add a few more? Can I mix species, for example a Condy? How many and what to mix and match...thannks

It is always risky to mix species, IMHO. You could always add more BTA's though. Some people have so many BTA's in one tank they can't count them.

Its always risky like EC said. I would say its best to stick with the same type in maybe different colors etc unless your a gambler in which the odds are not in your favor....

I would just mix a couple colors of BTA.
Condy's are tempting because they are cheap, and some have nice color, but they have a stronger sting that keeps me from keeping them.
