I have a 2.5" male Gold stripe marron clown(came from a known pair, female went carpet surfing) an i have an oppertunity to pick up a 3.5" unknown. Will i end up with a fight?
Is there a way to tell sex on GSP?

Well thats hard to say because every fish is diff.If the clown you just bought is aggresive I would say it a good chance that its a female.But at 3.5 inches I would think that it would be a female.You may have a fight.All I can say is just watch the 2 and see how they get along.If you have an anemone and the male is hosting it there may be a small agument at first but only until the male becomes subbmizive to the clown if it is female.But I would just do some reading on how some people pair Maroons.I always think that its better to buy about 3 of 4 extra Maroons if you are trying to pair them up just in case the female has a BIG problem with the little guy.Also did you pick the clown up?If not I would just go and buy one and let it pair with your old male letting the old one become female.
