Is there an app for android to make it run like a seneye SWS?

I don't want to invest in a seneye SWS.
A PC or laptop is too bulky to be just acting as a web server.
I have an android tablet already hooked up by my display tank for watching my Apex.
Seneye, is there or can you write an app for android to make it run like a SWS so that, if I plug the seneye monitor to the usb port of my tablet, it can 1) upload the data to the cloud, 2) run the seneye app for monitoring the parameter, and 3) watch my apex page?

Ok. Belkin Home Base allows any(?) usb devices to be shared on the LAN as long as your PC runs the belkin software to look for the devices. Good idea. Something to look into. I wonder if the seneye monitor is just acting as a USB storage device and the Seneye PC software is pulling / reading the files on it. If so, maybe my netgear router (running as a client bridge on DD-WRT) might do that trick too. I guess I will see once my seneye arrives this week.

However, even with the seneye shareable on the LAN, a PC (or SWS) is still needed to push the data to the cloud. If Seneye can write the software for andriod, we have more choices.

Regular USB STORAGE device that create and write the data internally? Not all USB devices could be shareable - storage, printer, etc....

Once I have the seneye, I will see if I can make it shareable on my DD-WRT Client bridge and if my Windows 2010 Server (running 24x7) can access it to upload the data to seneye cloud so that I can monitor on my cell phone. I will report back if I find the best solution.

BTW, the "new" SWS with WIFI option is a joke. The "WIFI module" is external and is a just a Edimax N300 Wifi adapter which you can get for $20 on ebay. "External" means more wiring and one more AC Adapter to your wall.

Ok. My way of using the seneye reef. I have a Windows machine running 24x7. I got a IOGEAR GUWIP204 USB sharing station. The seneye connects to it and the IOGEAR needs just one cord for power to the wall. It is wifi and it connects wirelessly to my LAN and the Windows machine see it and runs Seneye Connect so that my mobile devices can login and see data. If I have to move the seneye, it is just the seneye and the IOGEAR with one AC adapter.
Don't waster money buying the SWS (that needs an AC Adapter). It is even a joke to buy its wifi module because it is just a Edimax N300 wifi adapter (that needs another AC adapter)

That is all because I have a Windows machine running 24x7.
