Is this a sebae or a condy?

Got this little fella sold to me as a condy ($9), but looking at some pictures of condys, and seeing some pictures of Sebae anemones, it looks more like a Sebae. Foot looks to be white, and it's in the sand, between the rock and glass. I put it on a rock, and it moved overnight to the sand right below it and hasn't moved since. My clowns are kind of hosting it? One of the clowns rubs himself in it randomly throughout the day, but doesn't sit in it all day. He sleeps in it at night though. My other clown does the same thing, out during the day, sleeps in his GBTA.

Awesome, that's great to hear. I sure got a nice deal! Now I've heard Sebaes don't do as well in home aquariums, Anything I should watch out for or do special for this guy? He looks quite healthy, and my clown took to him instantly, so far so good.

Nearing 5 months now I'm curious what exactly makes it more difficult? Assuming the water is well maintained, the lighting is adequate, he's fed well, and hosting he should be a happy anemone right?

My water's good, alk/calc are in check (going to start dripping kalk on Friday when my parts come in so I don't need to mess w/ 2-part as much). Magnesium test kit will be here today. Nitrates are 0, phos are too low for my Seachem test to get a reading on. I've been dosing vodka for over 2 months now, and dosing nitrate along with it since my nitrates are undetectable. I have no pest algae, cyano, diatoms, etc. So I'm well clear of new tank syndrome.

Lighting wise I have a dual t5ho fixture and DIY LEDs with 160w of 460nm leds, and I'll be adding lenses when the come in, so my light output should definitely be enough.

I have Sebae. And they're def. on the more difficult side. They come fully bleached, so no food source on their own (They should be brown with purple tips, but they don't sell that way, so the first seller [Not the LFS] bleaches them then ships so they sell as white.) so they do need some extra care that way, to feed, they also need stable systems like all nems.
With your lights, I'd put him way down on the bottom substrate but near a rock, they like to sit half and half i've found. If I move mine up, he'll stomp right back on down so he's like a weird little pita lol.

Also; If your clown loves him, he'll do better than one without a clown, so I've found.

They're very slow to regain color I've found... Mine's grown a lot since I got him, but he's barely gaining any color, a few of his tents are beige now, and I giggle in joy everytime the moonlights come on, those are the ones that glow iridescent blue under them. <3

When I first got him I put him on a rock low in the tank and he moved down into the sand. He hasn't moved since so I'm assuming he enjoys the spot. He wedged his foot in between a piece of rock and the glass with sand at the bottom so the majority of his body is on the sand.

What are you feeding your Sebae? I've had him for about 3 days or so and he seems pretty settled so I want to get some food for him. I've been squirting some mysis onto his body when I feed everyone else. I have to sit there and stop my cleaner shrimp, six line, and even the clowns from taking his food. It's hard to tell if he is actually consuming the mysis since the particles are so small. I'm thinking about buying some cocktail shrimp (raw of course) and chopping it up into little pieces and feeding him that.

I do Mysis, Brine and Plankton not cut up, I squirt a lot on his tentacles and the clown sucks most away and the circ pump does some more, but he's strong and gets a good amount in him. If he's got a feeding response, he's ready for whatever you can get to stick to him.

It took a few days for him to get more sticky in my tank after QT, and now he doesn't let go of anything, so watch your fingers/feeding utensils, and if he grabs on don't pull, just hold it still he'll get the clue it's not moving for his mouth and he'll pull away without hurting himself.
